  2. 4 persons who for obvious reasons must remain anonymous at
  3. this time.  This document becomes extremely important when
  4. viewed along with other documents and information.  It
  5. becomes even more important when compared with PROJECT
  6. EXCALIBUR which comes under MAJESTIC TWELVE/AQUARIUS.
  7. PROJECT EXCALIBUR's mission is to develop a weapon which will
  8. penetrate the earth to 1/2 mile and then detonate a nuclear
  9. weapon in order to destroy the alien underground base in New
  10. Mexico.

  14. Notes from WX Division:  September 9, 1988

  19. 1.  There is an unprecedented push to develop a missile that
  20. is capable of penetrating 1,000 meters of earth prior to
  21. detonating.
  22.  
  23. 2.  The device under development carries a 1 megaton warhead.
  24.  
  25. 3.  Some requirements & comments given to WX division were as
  26. follows:
  27.  
  28.         A.  "The device must be capable of penetrating 1,000
  29.              meters of tufa/hard pack soil and sustain no
  30.              operational damage.  This type of soil is
  31.              commonly  found in New Mexico, where we will be
  32.              conducting the penetration tests."

  34.         B.   "Missile apogee must not exceed 30,000 feet
  35.              AGL."
  36.  
  37.         C.   "Impact deviation will not exceed 50 meters."
  38.  
  39.         D.   "We believe the Russians have constructed under
  40.              ground bases in the Soviet Union 500 to 1,000
  41.              meters deep.  Since their soil is the same that
  42.              is found in New Mexico, accurate tests can be
  43.              performed here (New Mexico).  Fallout shelters
  44.              that deep are far too expensive for the United
  45.              States to construct."

  47. 4.  The YY-II facility  is located in Los Alamos at the rear
  48. of the "ice cave".  The "ice cave" or "ice" as it is
  49. sometimes called, is a high security installation cut into
  50. the side of the mesa Los Alamos sits on.  The entrance is via
  51. the road under the diamond street bridge.  Macdonald's
  52. restaurant is directly over the facility.  Entrance into the
  53. cave can be seen by leaning over the cliff behind Macdonalds.
  54. YY-II is double faraday shielded, the reason given was "to
  55. attenuate computer emissions".  It would seem strange to do
  56. this however, since the cave is surrounded by a 200 foot
  57. thick wall of rock.

  59. 5.  An additional note:  contrary to information given to WX
  60. division, the topsoil & underlying earth  in the Soviet Union
  61. is not similar in density nor composition to that of New
  62. Mexico soil.
